A&C Auto is a general automotive mechanical maintenance and repair shop. We are knowledgeable about working on a wide variety of car and pickup truck makes. Upon vehicle inspection our mechanics are able to diagnose automotive problems accurately and quickly and provide our customer with a price quote including how long it will take to fix before commencing work. Our mechanics use electronic means and onboard computer codes and related data as well as our hands, ears, eyes and nose to assess and repair vehicle problems, and advise our customers on preventative maintenance strategies in order to keep vehicles in good condition and running smoothly to avoid future expensive damage.
Kinds of Services
A&C Auto's garage provides brake services, tire repairs, wheel alignments, tune-ups, repairs, including adjustments, removals and reinstallation to engines, transmission, and differentials. We also service automotive electrical systems, align vehicle suspension, make brake repairs including setups, adjust and repair steering systems, repair and service air conditioning, heating and engine-cooling systems; and do all necessary mechanical checks.

Al Mackay the owner of A&C Auto and mechanic Albert Kosolofski have 42 years of combined mechanical experience between them. Al has been running his auto mechanic business at its present location for the past 16 years. And for good measure Al and Albert are knowledgeable mechanics and stockcar racing enthusiast too and are keen to give good advice on any automotive topic too.

Kamloops via Coquihalla Highway 5 South
If your traveling south from Kamloops take the first exit and drive to the second lights at Nicola and Voght, you will see the 7-11 store, kitty-corner across the street. Turn left and travel east 1 Km and watch for A&C Auto on your right, you can't miss it.
Kelowna via Highway 97C and Highway 5A
Traveling west on Highway 97C (Okanagan Connector) you join Highway 5A, 15km east of Merritt. From there travel into Merritt to the first set of lights, continue on your way. There will be a log yard on your left, the first business you come up on your left is A&C Auto.
Vancouver via Coquihalla Highway 97 North
Those traveling north from Vancouver take the first exit into Merritt via Highway 5A west. Drive to the first set of lights, continue on your way. There will be a log yard on your left, the first business you come up on your left is A&C Auto.
From Highway 1 and Spences Bridge via Highway 8
Drive east from Spences Bridge, 60km to via Highway 8 to Merritt. Drive to the first set of lights in Merritt, and continue on through 1 Km and watch for A&C Auto on your right, you can't miss it.
